THE QUESTION OF QUESTIONING
Questioning is an essential aspect of existence. To be is to question.
To be is to question on all levels of consciousness and on all levels of awareness of oneself and one's environment.
To be a finite entity is to have an innate, intentional will to exist; to enduringly express oneself within the constraints
of one's relative contexual environment, and, thus, to inquiringly poll those very constraints and facets of one's existence.
As such, we must recognize that this questioning essence belongs to all creatures, from the sub-atomic to the macro-cosmic
levels of existence.
For all things finite, to exist means to question one's reality and to seek life-sustaining and life-enhancing answers
as to what it means to exist.
All human religious expressions and philosophical speculations are founded on this innate drive to know the source and
substance of life.
These endeavors are an attempt to uncover the divine ground or primordial essence from which all life flows.
Proper questioning invokes the disclosure of true life and ultimate reality as that which is at the very core of our being,
and which itself is ever seeking to reveal itself to us.
Proper questioning invokes the disclosure that God, Ultimate Reality, is itself seeking to shepherd us into asking those
vital questions that will reveal the Logos of its Truth!
Proper questioning is grounded in our personal experience of the power of that which is revealed in the person of Jesus
Christ and justified by His resurrection from death, that True God and True Life is Divine Love (1 John 5:20)!
